Our client is a long-established company specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of branded production equipment. Its capital equipment systems are sold globally and are well supported to deliver the consistent performance that is driving exceptional growth. Reporting to the CEO and acting as a business partner, the VP, Finance is a senior member of the Management Team. The mandate is to oversee all financial activities including accurate and timely financial processing and reporting, controlling, growth forecasts and analysis, with oversight of various satellite locations in the US, UK and China, etc. In addition, of critical importance is mentoring and development of the finance team to ensure a highly engaged culture.

Responsibilities:

Technical: all financial management and controllership activities including preparation of financial and income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns and governmental agency reports along with accounting, manufacturing costing and A/R, A/P. Ensure accuracy of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.

Treasury, Administration & Control: cash management and forecasting, contract management, risk management, insurance contracts, trade finance & credit management, implementing internal controls and representing the organization with relevant external service providers.

Performance Reporting: analysis of growth forecasting and targets, margin analysis, and market conditions as they relate to actual results; develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Financial planning & analysis: oversee annual budget and strategic business plan development.

Qualifications:

Business degree and Chartered Professional Accountant designation is required.

15+ years of experience in financial leadership roles.

Experience within a manufacturing environment. Export experience is ideal.

Solid ERP system and Financial Consolidation software experience.

Excellent management, coaching and mentorship skills.

Dexterity between a high-level strategic focus and day-to-day operational troubleshooting.

Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and drive for business growth.
